The court float is the essential tool for groundskeepers and tennis coaches: it spreads the red-clay top layer evenly, levels worn spots from play, and restores the playing surface flatness after matches and training sessions.
The 70 cm size is the most versatile for daily routine: manageable by a single operator, wide enough to cover a large area without repeated passes. Clubs with multiple courts or full-court resurfacing also stock the 150 cm version.
After raking the court to remove debris and leaves, drag the float slowly across the surface at a shallow angle. The blade evens out the clay top layer and closes small irregularities left by play. For freshly topped-up courts, a post-watering pass is recommended to set the surface layer.
